West Valley Community Services serves the communities of Cupertino, San Jose, Monte Sereno, Saratoga and Log Gatos and does a remarkable job serving the hungry and homeless.  One of their programs is a rotating shelter that moves 12-18 homeless men around to 12 churches for a one month stay at each location.  While at a particular church the men, all of whom must be working or looking for work, are housed in the Fellowship Hall or Gym and fed by the church members.  Church volunteers also agree to shop for their food needs, help with resumes or interview coaching, and in all ways possible be hospitable.  West Valley Community Services pays for a supervisor for the men and also the costs of moving the men, their belongings, and a refrigerator and other supplies each month.  Two Presbytery of San Jose churches house this program and offer hospitality to their guests.  Funding would be appreciated to defray the costs of this program.Project ID: 36
