Amazing Grace Ministry builds a community of faith among the homeless and near-homeless individuals and families living in the Las Vegas area.
Through the amazing grace of Jesus Christ, we witness and share His love by Word, Sacrament, and Deed. Amazing Grace Ministry is a private, not-for-profit Corporation, and a special ministry of "The Nevada Presbytery."
It's goal is to bring The Gospel to, and build a community of faith among, a unique and diverse population; including the poor, homeless, and near homeless of Las Vegas, Nevada.
It accomplishes this by providing worship services at locations to which this population has access, and by transporting members of this population to these services' respective locations.
The Ministry currently has two services; one on Sunday morning, and one on Wednesday evening.
The 8:30 Sunday morning worship is held at The Salvation Army following a continental breakfast. An average of 200 people attend.
The 6:30 Wednesday evening service is held at Christ Church Episcopal. a full-course meal is served to an average of 300 people.
The Ministry also distributes Bibles, clothing, diapers, bus-tokens, and other incidentals as available and necessary.
