A number of other churches in the Presbytery are also involved in their programs for youth, adults and the elderly. Cameron House’s many ministries include job training for immigrants, anti-trafficking projects, programs to address domestic violence involving women and children, healing and cancer support, food stamp outreach and weekly meals for the elderly. The Friday Night Club is for middle and high school youth. Adults and youth tutor in the Bilingual After School program daily, Monday through Friday. Summer Ventures serves children for 8 weeks in classes including ones that promote spiritual growth with an emphasis on Christian values. A summer camping program at Westminster Woods is also a key part of their outreach to the youth. Cameron House dates from the late 1890’s, and has a broad base of community support, which reaches over 1000 individuals annually. The current Executive Director is Monica Waters.
